A SPECTACULAR gathering of cars, motorcycles and aircraft will assemble at a festival of motoring and aviation in Middle Wallop this summer.
Wallop Wheels and Wings, which will take place at the Army Flying Museum and the airfield at the Army Air Corps Centre at Middle Wallop on July 2, will bring together 400 super and classic cars and bikes, as well as 50 classic aircraft.
The military and civilian sites will also feature a whole range of other attractions including a kid's zone, event village with local traders, live music, beer tent and a food court.
This year's event welcomes, amongst others, the Hampshire Fare Roadshow, Hop Back Brewery and an exhibition from the Guild of Aviation Artists.
Over 150 classic and super cars have already registered to exhibit at the event including a number of car clubs. These include the Ferrari Owner’s Club, the Jaguar Owner’s Club, the Aston Martin Owner’s Club, the Porsche Club GB, the Austin Healey Club, and many more.
A full programme of entertainment will run throughout the day, including the Concours D’Elegance which will see a display of the best vintage cars in show.
Event organiser Daisy Bradley said: “Following the success of last year, we are really excited to be able to welcome everyone to the second Wallop Wheels and Wings event, and the team here are working hard to make sure that it's going to be a great day out for families and enthusiasts alike.
“We have a few surprises lined up for the day and, also, entertainment for all ages.
“There are only a limited number of tickets available, so it will be a case of first come first served.”
Tickets are currently on an early bird rate until the end of the month, so book before 30 April to secure a discounted rate.
