DEVELOPER Lovell Homes has launched its Drummond Park development, on the former Defence Medical Equipment Depot in Ludgershall.

The off-plan launch took place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 April, for the 600 property seekers who had registered their interest in the development. The event kicked off at 10am, and attendees were able to meet with the sales team to find out more about the homes available to purchase off-plan and speak with an Independent Financial Advisor for free mortgage advice. The team successfully secured a number of sales including all four beds released for launch.

Julie Bowen, regional sales director at Lovell Homes, said: “We’re delighted to be sharing our highly-anticipated Drummond Park development with property seekers across Wiltshire.

“Our off-plan launch event was hugely popular, and it was wonderful to see so many faces there. We expect the homes at this exciting new development to sell fast, so we’d encourage anyone looking for a brand-new home to contact the sales team on 01633 928 856 to avoid missing out.”

A selection of three-bed homes at Drummond Park are available to purchase off-plan, meaning buyers can reserve their new home before it’s been built and have the first selection of available plots, allowing them to pick a home that’s suited to their household.

Drummond Park will consist of a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes, perfect for young professionals, couples and growing families alike.

Upon reservation, homes can be personalised with Lovell Homes’ Inspirations range, allowing homeowners to begin customising and adding personal touches before their home is complete. Subject to build stage, buyers can choose from a wide variety of standard finishes and upgrades to select from for every room of the property, including the kitchen, flooring, tiling and more.

Buying off-plan comes with financial benefits too, as purchasers can secure the price of the home before it’s built, meaning the value may go up over time.

For first-time buyers especially, getting onto the property ladder is a very exciting time which can be made less stressful by purchasing off-plan. Although it may be a longer wait period before the property is completed, homeowners are able to spend more time saving up money and selecting interior décor, meaning a house becomes their home as soon as they step over the threshold.

Selected properties at Drummond Park up to the value of £349,000 will be available for first time buyers to purchase using the Government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme*, meaning only a five per cent deposit is required. The remaining amount is made up of a 75 per cent mortgage and a 20 per cent equity loan.

Drummond Park will feature a collection of 309 two, three and four-bedroom open market Lovell homes, as well as 103 affordable homes – 40 per cent shared ownership and 60 per cent affordable rent – for leading housing provider Stonewater.
