RESIDENTS in Andover took to the dance floor for a "wonderfully royal" Tea Dance to mark the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
Today (June 2) afternoon music and refreshments were provided at St Mary’s Church in Andover to mark the special occasion.
During the event Jayne Deer took to the stage to entertain residents with music, which ranged from the 30s, 40s 50s and 60s.
Meanwhile the centre of the church was 'cleared to allow the brave to dance'.

Robert, who lives near to Andover, was just one of the residents who came along to the free event.
He brought along his 'famous walking stick', which he said he "loves to decorate differently for each special occasion" that goes by.
He said: "I love the Jubilee and it is great to be able to come down and celebrate with everyone.
"I always decorate my walking stick differently and today I have decorated it especially for the Jubilee celebration, it only took me around an hour to do but I think it looks great.”
Peter Wilson, who also joined in with the royal celebrations, served in the Army for an impressive 18 years and proudly wore his medals with a matching Jubilee top.
He said: "It is just a wonderful occasion to come and celebrate as a community.
"I think after all the work the Queen has done over the past 70 years the least we can do as a country to celebrate is have a bit of a party."

While many enjoyed the delicious array of tea and cakes others took to the dance floor as they danced the afternoon away, others impressed with their outfits.
Ted Hurdle come down with his dancing group and said he thinks celebrations are “wonderful” and a “once in a lifetime opportunity”.
