Delays of over an hour are currently being experienced on the M3 due to emergency roadworks.
The delays are between junction 12 for Eastleigh and junction 11 for Winchester.
All three lanes had been closed, but one had reopened at around 12pm.
A tweet from National Highways said: “Lanes 1 and 2 (of 3) are closed on the M3 eastbound between J12 Eastleigh and J11 Winchester due to an infrastructure defect which requires immediate repair.”
