CONTROVERSIAL plans for housing on green space in Andover have been re-submitted - this time with fewer homes.

Taylor Wimpey has returned with another application for a housing development on land west of Finkley Farm Road in East Anton.

In the latest proposal the homebuilder has reduced the number of dwellings planned on the site from 130 to 102, after its previous application was rejected by Test Valley Borough Council in March.

Councillors agreed with planning officers that the scheme was not a “high-quality development”, lacked parking and outdoor space for apartments.
