A YOUNGSTER from Andover who is the curator behind a multi-media marketing agency has won big, scooping a prestigious award.

Dmitrijs Meiksans, 17, the brains behind Demo Consultancies and a member of the youth parliament for North West Hampshire, beat a variety of strong young finalists to win the Future Talent of the Year award.

The award sponsor said that at Dmitrijs age he is "defying all barriers”.

Commenting on the award, he said: “I am in genuine shock, I have loved being able to support a variety of businesses with social media management, graphic design and event planning for the last three to four years, and to be recognised for it, is something beyond extraordinary. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this surreal journey - onwards and upwards from here!”
