A COMEDIAN is set to bring his new show to The Lights in Andover.

Like many of his peers, Hal Cruttenden has returned from Edinburgh Fringe following a successful turn at the world’s largest arts and media festival. In the Metro newspaper, Hal explained his usual guilt about spending a month in Scotland away from his partner every year, perfecting his craft.

His new show is all about his divorce. Following the breakdown of his 21-year (and 224-day) marriage, Hal is back to being single. But he thinks it’s all going to be fine. Instead of therapy, he has written a whole new show about it.

He’s spent the last year on tour, with hilarious anecdotes and a sharp sense of jovial self-deprecation. This mammoth tour will continue through 2022 until summer 2023, with one date left in Hampshire this year.

This is a chance to see one of the UK’s top touring stand-up comedians in a 249-seater auditorium in Andover. With shows across the country in theatres that vary in size and scale, seeing this household name up close and personal, is a real treat.

The comedian is also a highly accomplished writer, presenter, and actor. He presents a rugby podcast with Dan Skinner, as well as multiple TV appearances throughout his career, Cruttenden is a surefire hit on British television.

He’s appeared on Mock the Week, Richard Osman’s House of Games and Celebrity Mastermind.
