CALLS are being made for a train operator to improve its service to Andover after it has reduced its timetable.

Commuters say they are upset at the decision by South Western Railway to cut back on services to London.

The route was scaled back during the pandemic, but the less frequent service has now been made permanent, leaving many frustrated.

Rail firm SWR say this new timetable matches customer demand and that if passenger numbers were to increase they would react quickly, subject to funding from the Department for Transport.
