RESIDENTS in Andover and the surrounding areas are being invited to help thousands of school children plant trees.
Andover Trees United is on the hunt for volunteers to help hundreds of school children plant trees at the Bury Hill Nature Reserve. The planting will take place next month on weekdays between November 14 and December 2.
It is a great opportunity for people to contribute to the creation of a new nature reserve, by supporting more than 1,000 school children from 30 Andover and surrounding village schools to plant their trees.

Moreover, Andover Trees United are having a community tree planting day for people of all ages to add more native hedgerow to Harmony Woods, Andover, on November 12 and December 10.
Through Harmony Woods, Andover Trees United hopes to teach people to care for the environment and they also provide opportunities for volunteering, learning, training, enjoyment and enhanced wellbeing.
