DRIVERS in Andover will have 11 roads to avoid on Sunday, November 13 due to closures caused by the Remembrance Sunday Parade.

The parade will start at Bridge Street, and will head towards Winchester Street, onto Eastern Avenue and to St Mary’s Church for an indoor service at 10am.

Following the end of the Act of Remembrance at 11.25am, dignitaries will then travel back to Eastern Avenue to salute the return parade.

As a result, there will be some road closures to avoid on Sunday morning.

Bridge Street will be closed from 9.45am to 10.45am.

Meanwhile, Western Avenue, High Street, London Street, Winchester Street, South Street, Eastern Avenue, London Road, East Street, Savoy Close and Newbury Street will all be closed at 10.25am, reopening at 10.45am.
