Kings Somborne Village hall fundraising committee is celebrating after its fundraising event raised more than £3,000 for two charities.
Its drama/dinner evening on November 19 was in aid of Countess of Brecknock Hospice in Andover and the village hall funds.
The evening involved a free performance of the play "Sing a Song of Murder" by Geriactors, which saw more than 80 people attending and enjoying a three-course meal and a coffee.

After costs, both charities will roughly receive more than £1,250 each, thanks to the generous donations from Pearsons of Romsey, Afternoon Tea from The Grosvenor in Stockbridge, a Meal Voucher from Jude in our own Crown and others.
There were also raffle tickets for sale and staff worked hard throughout the evening to ensure everything ran smoothly.
Jim Fitzpatrick of the Village Hall fundraising committee thanked everyone who contributed to the successful evening.
