NICHOLAS Martin, BEM, will be performing at the WEOS concert in Weyhill this December.

At the Fairground Hall in Weyhill, Nicholas will be making his 11th appearance at the club on December 15 since helping its launch after his first concert in July 2002.

The doors will open at 7pm ready for when the show commences at 7.30pm and tickets per person cost £7, which are available on the night.

Major highlights of Nick's musical career include when he was offered the post of resident organist at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool in 1981 when he was just 17 years old. Also, he was given an initial offer in 1985 to perform in a concert on the West Coast of Florida.

Since that first visit he has continually been asked to return and has made over 30 trips across the Atlantic, where he has performed to large audiences.

Nick is also strongly committed to charity work and was previously awarded the British Empire Media in the Queen's New Year Honours list in 2015.

This was inspired by both of his sons being afflicted with autism. Nick and his wife, Marianne, founded a charity in 2001 to help autistic children and their families – a charity the Weyhill club has supported on many occasions.
