FUNDS have been released to complete works on two sites in Andover.
Councillors from Andover Town Council approved the funds to be released from the earmarked reserves for works to be completed on Mylen Road and Barlows Lane sites.
On Barlows lane, £3,647 will be used to supply and install a 1.8m high fencing consisting of 1 of 4m wide pair of gates and 6m fencing on either side to be installed within the allotment entrance.

Meanwhile, on Mylen Road, it is also decided that a 39m of 1800mm-high green 358 security mesh fencing supported on green coated box section concreted in posts is to be installed. An initial quote was given of £6,597.
The motion was passed with no discussion, with all in agreement.
Cllr Huges said: "This money has been sitting there since I became councillor and I am glad to see that this money is in all being spent.
"They should be the best allotment in the country. So let's get on with it."
