LUDGERSHALL got into the festive spirit over the weekend as crowds gathered to enjoy a thoroughly merry time.

Organised by Ludgershall Town Council, the weekend of events kicked off on Friday, November 25 when the town’s Christmas lights were switched on by Santa and his elves.

There was free hot chocolate and mince pies and music from Just the 2 of Us and Castledown FM.

On Sunday, November 27, a Christmas Fayre took place with music provided again by Just the 2 of Us and Castledown FM, with Father Christmas and his elves making an appearance once again.
