Dear Editor,
May I have space to thank the management and staff that look after both of our cemeteries in the north of the borough.
Andover’s parks are beautiful there is no doubt about that.
But I wonder if the general public are aware that the same care and maintenance goes in to our loved ones final resting places?
I mention parks, because they are indeed similar with trees that have stood the test of time, bushes that are in keeping with the surroundings, lawns, verges, pathways, and roads all kept to the highest standard possible.
Both Charlton and St Mary’s have their unique charm about them, each gives those that walk through them, immense upliftment solace and time for quiet reflection and contemplation.
Staff are seen working sensitively, quietly, diligently throughout the year, often in inclement weather, their attitudes remains the same, respectful of the areas they work in.
I simply would like to say thank you to you all.
