DRIVERS in Andover will have 15 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A303, from 8pm November 9 2022 to 6am February 8 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Barton Stacey to Overton, Lane closures for barrier work.

• A303, from 8pm January 9 to 6am February 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Thurxton, slip road and lane closures for signage repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 8pm January 18 to 6am February 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Parkhouse, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing work, diversion via National Highways network.

And a further 12 closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A303, from 8pm January 30 to 6am February 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Parkhouse to Thruxton Village, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A34, from 8pm January 30 to 6am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington, slip road and lane closures for barrier repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

• M27, from 8pm January 30 to 6am February 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 2 to junction 4, Lane closures for drainage work.

• A34, from 8pm January 31 to 6am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Sutton Scotney Services, Services slip roads and lane closures for drainage work.

• A34, from 8pm January 31 to 6am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Three Maids to Kingsworthy, Lane closure for barrier works.

• M27, from 8pm February 3 to 6am February 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 eastbound, junction 5, Lane closures for communications work.

• M27, from 8pm February 4 to 6am February 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 eastbound, junction 5, Lane closures for communications work.

• A34, from 8pm February 7 to 6am February 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 Bullington roundabout, link road closure for sign works.

• M27, from 8pm February 7 to 6am February 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 eastbound, junction 4, Lane closures for M27 Smart Motorways.

• M27, from 8pm February 7 to 6am February 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 3, slip road and lane closures for roadmarkings, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 8pm February 8 to 6am February 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Kingsworthy to M3, junction 9, link road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

• M27, from 8pm February 9 to 6am February 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 4 to junction 5, Lane closures for drainage work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
