THE ultimate 50s and 60s show will be hitting The Lights in Andover this spring.

Think back to a time when Hoola Hoops, Poodle skirts, Pez sweets, bell bottoms, lava lamps, and turtlenecks were popular. If you do remember the 1950s and 60s, you’ll remember all these things, and even more importantly, you’ll remember the greatest songs of that era. To experience the music of that time, The Lights has the perfect show for fans of that period.

Covering the rise of rock and roll, Rave On returns to The Lights auditorium in March for a night of bopping. Journeying through the 50s and 60s, audiences will be up and dancing along to the very best rock and roll legends that the show’s band The Bluejays cover.

Whether it’s Little Richard, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Lulu, Chuck Berry, The Everly Brothers, Peggy Lee or Ray Charles the crowd and singers will be in unison singing along to memory-inducing tunes.

Over the years, the performers have appeared on national television shows, on the West End and across the country on multiple tours. They are known for their high-quality, high-energy performances, vibrant costumes, and superb staging that will have you feeling like you’ve fallen out of a time machine to a time when there were no tricks, bands played how they played, and singers sang how they sang.

This authentic experience is for fans of the rock and roll genre, as well as those who want to experience music in the rawest of fashion, in person. Whether that’s three performers harmonizing around a vintage microphone, or a full band twisting to Chubby Checker. In between songs, members of the show’s cast will reference back to the history behind some of the songs they perform.
