TWO men and a woman who were operating a drugs line selling heroin and crack cocaine to users in Andover have been jailed.

Nathaniel Vamboi, 26; Sherihan Sharif, 28; and Davontae Smith, 21, were operating the ‘lucky’ line between London and Andover from May to September 2022.

During the investigation, officers seized mobile phones belonging to Vamboi, Sharif and Smith, along with a quantity of suspected cocaine from Sharif’s address.

Phone analysis carried out on all three of the phones revealed bulk marketing messages being sent to Andover drug users, offering heroin and crack cocaine for sale.

Vamboi, of Mount Pleasant, West Norwood, London; Smith, of Saltwood Close, Orpington; and Sharif, of Broomwood Road, Orpington, all pleaded guilty to two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs at a previous hearing.

Sharif also pleaded guilty to possession of Class A drugs – cocaine.

On Friday, February 17, Vamboi was jailed for 40 months, Sharif for 30 months and Smith was given a two-year prison sentence suspended for two years.

Police Constable Matt Bonner from the Northern Police Investigations Team said: “I hope that this sentence sends out a strong message to drug dealers and those involved in drug networks that it will not be tolerated in Andover or Hampshire.

"Anyone who tries to set up a network in the county will be relentlessly pursued and brought before the courts.

"I also hope this demonstrates our commitment to tackling and disrupting County Lines drug dealing to prevent the exploitation of vulnerable people and keep our communities safe from the harm drugs and the associated crimes cause."
