AN exciting new cafe, art gallery and events space has been opened in Stockbridge by a trio of female entrepreneurs.

Housed in a reimagined Georgian townhouse, Meadow is a new food and art destination for Hampshire.

The beautifully designed, minimalist café is founded by three incredible women Kate Anniss, Carrie Dunlop and Laura Reynolds.

The space is also home to a dynamic gallery, Mylo Art, showcasing works from emerging and established artists, and a curated programme of workshops and events.

Kate Anniss said: “Meadow has its doors wide open to the bustling high street and we want to share our passion for food, art and creativity with everyone.

“We want to the space uplift and invigorate all who pass through our doors, whether they’re getting stuck into our programme of creative events or grabbing a takeaway coffee.”

Anniss founded art consultancy Mylo Art & Design in 2014 with the aim of bringing beautiful art to interior and exterior spaces.

Carrie Dunlop is a stylist and interior designer who trained at KLC in London. She is passionate about using non-toxic, recyclable, natural products and textiles in her designs, without compromising the vision of an interior

Ms Dunlop added: “We wanted to bring the building back to life and revitalise people who walk through its doors—whether that’s sitting next to the calming flow of the River Test, eating healthy delicious food or being inspired by the art and our workshops.”

Laura Reynolds describes herself as a well-being cook and has a passion for using seasonal, local ingredients to create nourishing and delicious dishes.

“At Meadow we want people to feel good about what they are eating and feel nourished by their experience with us. The menu is relaxed with big flavours and local and seasonal sourcing,” Laura Reynolds added.

The cafe will serve delicious Middle Eastern-inspired superfood salads, from kale, lentils, roasted sweet potato, walnuts and a miso tahini dressing; to roasted beetroot and mint quinoa, picked fennel and pomegranate molasses.

The coffee is roasted by Moon Roast Coffee and its sparkling wines are produced by Cottonworth Vineyard four miles away.
