A WOMAN from Andover remains in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
The news comes after a body of a 62-year-old man was found at an address on New Street, Andover, just before midday on Wednesday, June 28.
A 36-year-old woman from Andover was arrested in Birmingham on suspicion of murder.
A 43-year-old man from Aldridge was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The Advertiser asked Hampshire Constabulary for an update.
A spokesperson said: "A 36-year-old woman from Andover was arrested in Birmingham on suspicion of murder. A 43-year-old man from Aldridge was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

"A 27-hour warrant of further detention has been granted yesterday (Sunday 2 July) in relation to the 36-year-old woman, giving officers further time to fully investigate the circumstances leading to the man’s death.
"The 43-year-old man has been released from police custody on conditional bail until 30 September."
Officers said they continue to ask that anyone with information, or footage, that may assist the investigation call 101 with reference Op Brier.
