AN ANDOVER couple has made their dream of owning their own coffee shop come true - the only difference is theirs is run from a renovated horse trailer.

Ryan and Megan Anscombe had always dreamed of one day owning their own coffee shop, but because of the logistics involved said it wouldn't be feasible.

The couple began renovating a vintage horse box in 2021 and when recently presented with the opportunity to buy another, they snapped it up.

They converted both of the trailers into mobile coffee shops, and since May 2023 one of these has been a permanent fixture at Enham Arch Retail Park.

The opportunity to set up at Enham Arch came about after a survey of the retail park's users said that somewhere to get a hot drink within the retail park would be a worthy addition.

The owners of the park then contacted Megan and Ryan at Coffee Nut, who accepted the offer and now have a horse box stationed by the B&M store.

Ryan and Megan said: "So far it's been really good. We now have two trailers, so one which is permanent at the retail park and the other which we hire out for private events, and use for local agricultural shows and the like. So far it's been a really good experience."

The couple added: "We’re so excited to see Coffee Nut grow to a point in which it can be a permanent part of our community.

"This was always high on our agenda, and already we’re blown away by how people have been spreading the word. It means so much to us to know that our customers are happy, whether that be through a gleaming review or simply by seeing them come back.

"That’s what it’s all about, and we can’t wait to see where the next few years will take our little business."
