Listeners of award-winning radio station Castledown FM were treated to some great live 80s music when Andover band NOKANDO visited the studios to perform.

The locally-loved covers band performed on Chris Jackson’s Alternative 80s show on Monday, November 13.

Kev Rees and Gary Lewis performed some great songs for the show and took part in a Q&A with DJ Chris.

They also played a cover version of Haircut 100's Love Plus One who finished their 40th year anniversary tour on Friday, November 17.

Chris said: “Unfortunately, band member Rob Robinson couldn’t join Kev and Gaz but I’m told he will be joining them for their gig in Ludgershall on November 29.

"However, Kev and Gaz played some great songs for my listeners that tune in all over the world and I hope it continues to give the band a boost as they are certainly on form at the moment and support many local artists and students learning to play guitars etc.

"Kev and Rob continue to play a massive part in our community with all they do for others."
