THE festive season is upon us as Santa cruises around the town, giving children and Christmas lovers alike the chance to see the big man and his band of elves. 

Andover Santa Cruises, organised by Andover Community Events, has begun its tour of the town, with Santa and his elves taking to the streets in his sleigh, touring housing estates around Andover to raise spirits and also funds for The Countess of Brecknock Hospice.  

Santa cruises around the streets have been taking place since Monday, December 11, and have toured numerous routes around the town.

Volunteers have been taking part in the event, giving their time to raise money and bring smiles to faces, with a number of the Andover Advertiser team joining on Tuesday, December 19 to try and help spread some festive cheer.
