MAGISTRATES have banned an Andover drink driver from getting behind the wheel for more than a year.

On Friday, January 12 this year Selina Reyes, of Georgia Close, drove a BMW on Eastern Road in Andover with 68 microgames of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit 35.

During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Thursday, February 1 the 24-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.

Magistrates banned Reyes from driving for 17 months and ordered a fine of £462 to be paid.

Reyes must also pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £185.
