ROADS in Andover will be closed to allow for major works to replace gas mains in the town to take place.

From Monday, February 26, SGN will replace old metal gas mains with new plastic gas mains in Andover.

Due to the locations of the pipes, Corunna Main will be closed at two different points in two phases.

Phase one of the planned works will see part of New Street closed, turning into Corunna Main, with surrounding roads closed apart from access into properties. Traffic will be diverted along Vigo Road to Colenzo Drive and into the other end of Corunna Main.
