A BREWERY director has defended himself against claims of fly-tipping after kegs with his company's branding were found dumped in a beauty spot.
Several empty Dark Revolution Brewery kegs were spotted near an overflow car park at Kings Chase, Andover, on Tuesday, March 5.
This came roughly a day after the brewery's only van was reportedly stolen from Old Sarum in the early hours of Monday morning, March 4.
Greg Hughes, director of the Downton-based brewery, said the kegs had recently been picked up from the Coach and Horses in Salisbury which is why they were marked with the pub's address.

Mr Hughes dismissed any rumours that the kegs were dumped by Dark Revolution, he said: "[The kegs] did not have any value to them but they do have value to us.
"Why would we fly tip when they had all our details on them?"
The 50-year-old explained how the £50 kegs had been recovered by Test Valley Borough Council and that he collected them on Thursday, March 7.
Mr Hughes said he would be washing the kegs and putting them back to good use but his van is still missing.
"It's frustrating and it has been quite annoying for us getting our van stolen," he added.

The brewery has had to rent another van while the insurance claim is ongoing.
A spokesperson for Test Valley Borough Council said it would be inappropriate to comment on the incident as there is an ongoing police investigation.
Wiltshire Police was contacted for more information but had not responded at the time of going to print.
