Members of Moving Meditation - Qigong in Andover marked the annual celebration on Saturday, April 27 with a visit to The Healing Herd, a farm in Nether Wallop for therapeutic alpaca activities operated by Gail Foster.

The qigong practitioners were welcomed by six alpacas, named Billy, Romesh, Al, Johnny, Rhod and Richard.

After a thorough safety briefing, the visitors led the alpacas on a short walk around the agility course. Following the meet and greet, feed, and walk, the members of Moving Meditation - Qigong took their places to practice qigong, surrounded by the alpacas.

Julie Thomas, of Moving Meditation - Qigong, said: “It was magical to finish up with a standing meditation, soaking in the peace and bird song in such a tranquil setting. The alpacas radiate a natural calmness, it was truly our pleasure to be with them.”
