Drivers in and around Test Valley will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

One of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am July 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions M3, junction 9 to Three Maids Hill, carriageway closures for resurfacing work.

And a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A303, from 8pm May 20 to 6am May 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Thruxton to Salisbury Road, Lane closures for drainage work.

• A303, from 8pm May 21 to 5am May 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Barton Stacey to Bullington, Lane closure for electrical works.

• A303, from 8pm May 22 to 6am May 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Thruxton to Salisbury Road, Lane closures for drainage work.

• A303, from 8pm May 23 to 6am May 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Salisbury Road, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.

• A303, from 8pm May 29 to 6am May 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Longparish, slip road and lane closures for signage repairs.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
