NEXT month Andover will play host to Edinburgh Fringe festival acts as they get ready for the popular comedy event.

For the first time in its history, The Lights will be holding a week of stand-up comedy, showcasing some of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe festival acts that will be performing in at the comedy arts festival this August.

Before The Fringe Fest, the first comedy festival to be held in Andover, is being held from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12.

It’s going to be an eventful week at the venue, with food offerings from vendor trucks Peppones Street Food, Trash Panda Pizza and more as well as live music on selected nights.

Doors will be open earlier than usual, meaning audiences can finish work and head straight to the venue, grab a drink, grab a bite and then sit back, relax and enjoy a night of live comedy.

The festival will be held in The Lights arena, which has played host to comedy clubs and live nights over the years. With a plethora of comedy coming up in 2024 at the venue, including Rob Beckett, Miles Jupp, Omid Djalili, Ria Lina, and Richard Herring to name but a few, there is a rich history of big names performing on the Andover stage since 2006.
