- Anjela Chetty, 60, was found deceased at an address on Burkal Drive, Andover, on Saturday, March 8, after reports of a serious assault at the address.
- A second woman in her 60s was also found with serious injuries and was taken to hospital by the ambulance service.
- A 31-year-old man from Andover has been arrested on suspicion of murder, attempted murder and possessing a controlled drug of Class B - Cannabis.
- He was technically released under investigation and then detained under the Mental Health Act.
- A 61-year-old man from Andover has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. He has been released on police bail until Sunday 8 June, pending further enquiries
