Solar panel grants have been launched by the council.
Small and medium-sized businesses in business parks and industrial estates across Test Valley could receive help to install solar panels with the council's new grant.
Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC) has set aside £50,000 of its 2025-2026 UK shared prosperity fund.
The panel costs will be offset by grants covering 20 per cent of project costs, up to £5,000.
These are available for landlords, leaseholders, and occupiers, but must be used by March 2026.
Councillor Alison Johnston, portfolio holder for climate emergency and countryside, said:
"I’m delighted we can offer these grants as it is vital we support the businesses on our business parks as they take steps to reduce their emissions.
"These grants for solar panels are not just an investment in sustainability, they’re also an investment in our community’s future and I would encourage eligible businesses to get in touch to see how we can help them."

The move is part of the council's climate emergency action plan, which was "refreshed" last year and set out a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
It also recognises the cost struggles faced by businesses with energy.
More funding will be given by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, which funds a range of priorities, including business site improvements and clean energy.
