AN Andover man has been warned that he could face imprisonment if he does not complete unpaid work.
Scott Campbell, 36, of no fixed abode, appeared at Winchester Crown Court on Monday, June 2, after he was found to have breached his probation by not completing unpaid work.
Judge Paul Dugdale ordered Campbell to complete 10 additional hours of unpaid work, saying that he would be jailed if it was not completed.
Judge Dugdale said: “The great news for you is that you were not sent to prison last June. The difficulties in prison would have made things worse for you. That is quite good news for you, and something to think about when you are looking in the mirror.

“Life is about choices. Decisions have consequences. You are in the position now where, with your unpaid work, you have a choice. You can go and get on with the unpaid work, which might not be at the front of the list of things you want to do. Or you can go and not do the work and come back here and I will send you to prison. I don’t want to do that, I suspect you don’t want to go to prison, and the prisons won’t want you because they want to keep the beds free.
“I am not going to fine this – I am going to give you an extra 10 hours of unpaid work. I am going to give you extra time to do the unpaid work. My advice is to get it done.”
No order for costs was made.
