Car crash blocks A30 near Stockbridge and causes 'traffic chaos'

A COLLISION on a Hampshire country road has caused caused traffic chaos, as emergency services contain the scene.

Rush hour traffic on the A30, near Stockbridge, has been hit by delays after a crash between a car and van at a crossroads has caused police to cordon off the scene and redirect drivers.



The police said in a statement: "Police were called at 3.42pm with reports that two cars had collided at the B3084 and A30 (Stockbridge Road) junction.

"Minor injuries have been reported and emergency services are currently on scene."
