Andover town centre is set to transform into a spooky playground.

Andover BID, through its InAndover brand, has announced the return of its free family Halloween trick-or-treat event, taking place on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 4pm to 6pm.

The event, organised in partnership with Andover Community Events and Love Andover, will feature a fancy dress competition, pumpkin carving contest, and the Devils Disco, promising an evening of fun for children and families.

Peta Green from Howden Insurance said: "The town absolutely loves it.

"We had hundreds of children in the office last year, and it was such a joyful experience for both families and shop owners.

"As a parent, I know how much people appreciate a safe and fun alternative to traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating—many of my friends and family rely solely on this event each year."

Businesses are invited to take part by staying open until 6.30pm and handing out treats to children.

Those wishing to get involved are asked to confirm their participation by September 1 to help with marketing and planning.

To sign up or for more information, businesses can email jessica@andoverbid.org.uk.

Promotional materials will be provided to participating shops.
