A relaxing evening of Tai Chi-inspired floral artistry captivated club members.

Andrea Hillyard's talk 'Time to Relax' showcased various displays at Broughton Floral Club, including an Open Cranes Wings arrangement with white calla lilies, viburnum sprays and hydrangea heads, set off with green palm leaves to represent wings and finished with white fluffy feathers.

Other creations included fan-shaped hand-ties with pink avalanche roses, pink and white cosmos and white gypsophila, all picked from her local flower farm.

Bronze-yellow eremurus stems, richly coloured dahlias, orange rose Confidential, and abundant foliage formed another attractive display.

The next meeting will feature Jennifer Thompson's demonstration, titled 'Flowers in Rhyme,' at Broughton Village Hall on Wednesday, September 3.

The meeting will start at 7pm, with the demonstration beginning at 7.30pm.

All visitors are welcome to join.
