A male voice choir is preparing for a special concert at a Test Valley museum.

Romsey Male Voice Choir (MVC) will perform at The Army Flying Museum in Middle Wallop on Saturday, September 27.

The event marks a return to the venue after a successful concert there last year.

Kevin Cleary, chairman of Romsey MVC, said: "If this year’s event is anything like the concert we put on in 2024 it will certainly be a night to remember.

"It is a pleasure for us to sing to the public anywhere - however this setting is very different to anywhere else we perform."

The museum houses more than 35 fixed-wing and rotary aircraft, showcasing more than a century of British Army aviation.

Songs from the choir’s wide repertoire will be performed, with a few special selections chosen to suit the distinctive venue.

The choir is led by musical director Marion Maxey and is known for taking on ambitious arrangements and offering audiences a diverse programme.

Tickets for the concert are available on The Army Flying Museum's website.

This year marks the choir’s 30th anniversary, and a further performance will take place at Romsey Abbey on Saturday, October 11.
