Here's a round-up of recent Andover cases heard in North Hampshire Magistrates' Court and Basingstoke Magistrates' Court.

A person who admitted to stalking must pay more than £1,000 and abide by a restraining order.

They pleaded guilty to stalking without fear, alarm or distress on May 20, 2025, in Andover.

The behaviour was found to form part of a course of conduct between January 26, 2025 and June 1, 2025.

Stevenson was ordered to pay £1,054, which includes a fine, costs and a surcharge.

They must pay £100 monthly instalments starting from January 12, 2026.

A restraining order was issued, prohibiting them from contacting the victim until December 14, 2027.

Charlie Chapman, 21, of Beaufort Road, Havant, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on December 17, 2025.

They indicated a guilty plea to dangerous driving on Central Way, Andover, on September 6, 2025.

Chapman was given a community order to last until December 16, 2026, which requires them to undertake 120 hours of unpaid work.

They were also disqualified from driving until an extended test is passed, with a disqualification period of 12 months from October 28, 2025.

They were also ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £199, to be paid by January 14, 2026.

The offence took place on the A303 at Weyhill, Andover, on October 26, 2024, while Robins was driving a Fortwo Passion.

They received a total financial penalty of £233, including a fine, costs and a surcharge, to be paid by February 1, 2026.

While the court ordered a community order lasting until June 16, 2027, to include 12 months of alcohol treatment and up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity, no compensation was awarded because the aggrieved did not support the proceedings.

Mellows indicated a guilty plea to two further offences, both of which were addressed by the same community order.

They admitted theft of money valued at £53.33 on April 11, 2025, and to causing criminal damage to a mobile phone of unknown value on April 10, 2025, both in Andover.
