Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, which is a really lovely day for everyone.
Couples getting together, maybe getting engaged or even getting married on February 14.
We have different venues doing celebration meals in their restaurants or maybe a cocktail too. I hope you all have a lovely time.
If we could support these venues that are also having a tough time. The Government has not made it easy for them lately.
In not-so-good news, I just do not understand why people are putting graffiti and offensive language up on the walls.
We are trying to make our town look nice and a lot of people are doing such good things, if you see any graffiti or obscene language in the town or where you live it needs to be reported to Test Valley Borough Council or Hampshire County Council or to the business that owns the property, TVBC can not do it for them and it costs them money, which makes extra cost to the business.
Also, as I am sure you can see - or feel! - there are an extremely large number of potholes. I constantly report them to Hampshire County Council, where everybody is trying to do their best.
The biggest problem is money and the weather has not helped with all the torrential rain we have had.
I know how frustrating it is for drivers and the cost that is happening to them by their tyres being ruined and having to buy new ones, as well as everything else that goes with driving a car.
I am extremely sorry for the experience that drivers must be going through. I personally do not drive; I walk everywhere.
It's not easy to have a car; it's expensive, but it's also essential for people to get to work. Something happening to your car when money is limited is not good. I know it's not my sympathy you want; I know you want action, not words.
We have another problem that goes with it, which is flooding, and that is also very hard for the people who are suffering, but it is a great expense to have flooding ruin your home and contents.
I know it has been very hard along Vigo Road, which I have been dealing with for some time, the soakaways they had done last year, but there must be a problem that still needs sorting out.
