A MAN has been banned from driving for more than three years after he was caught drink-driving on the A34.

Jeno Kelemen, 38, of Wilman Way, Salisbury, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, April 16.

He admitted driving a vehicle on the A34 at Whitchurch on March 21, with 70 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – exactly double the legal limit of 35.

Magistrates fined Kelemen £673 and disqualified him from driving for 40 months.

His ban can be cut by 40 weeks if he completes an approved drink-drive rehabilitation course by September 8, 2028.

He was also ordered to pay a £269 surcharge and £85 towards prosecution costs.
