A collision closed a major route and caused travel delays.
The A303 westbound, near the Countess Roundabout outside Amesbury, has been closed following a two-vehicle crash at around 10.30am on June 26.
Emergency services responded and attended the scene.
Fire crews from Amesbury and Salisbury attended and provided casualty care.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Fire Rescue Service said: "Crews from Amesbury and Salisbury were called to the A303 Amesbury Bypass off of Countess Roundabout, Amesbury at 10.54am this morning, following reports of a road traffic collision.
"The incident involved two vehicles and crews made the scene safe and assisted with casualty care."
The incident led to a full closure of the westbound carriageway between the Countess and Longbarrow roundabouts.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson also advised motorists to stay away from the area.
They said: "A closure is currently in place westbound on the A303 near Amesbury from the Countess Roundabout to the Longbarrow Roundabout following a collision involving two vehicles which occurred at around 10.30am today.
"Please avoid the area and seek an alternative route while emergency services attend the scene."
