A Hampshire county councillor has said he is working to ensure long-awaited resurfacing on Foxcotte Road in Charlton is completed before winter, following delays linked to utility works.
Councillor Chris Donnelly, who represents Andover West, acknowledged residents' frustrations after the scheme, originally expected last winter, was postponed.
He said: "I completely feel the frustrations of the residents who were promised this would be done last winter and they are still waiting.

"They can rest assured I'm trying to make sure this happens as quickly as possible to make sure this is done before next winter.
"I completely get it.
"It is really crucial it is done before the winter comes.
"People were promised it was going to be done."
Funding for the resurfacing has already been ringfenced.
However, Southern Water has since applied for a permit to carry out work on underground pipes along the road.
To prevent newly laid surfaces being dug up shortly afterwards, highways teams have agreed to delay resurfacing until after the utility works are completed.
The full scheme is now expected to take place in the autumn, although dates may change depending on weather conditions.
In the meantime, Cllr Donnelly has encouraged residents to report any potholes or temporary patch breakdowns to the authority.
