An Andover GP surgery has been rated well above the national average.
St Mary’s Surgery achieved a 94 per cent overall patient satisfaction score in the 2026 NHS England GP Patient Survey, placing it well above the national average of 77 per cent.

Dr Francine Thompson, lead GP at the surgery, said: "We are incredibly proud of these results, particularly in the context of the significant challenges facing general practice and the wider NHS.
"They reflect the resilience, commitment and dedication of our team in continuing to deliver high-quality care despite increasing pressures across the healthcare system."
The surgery made targeted improvements based on feedback from last year’s survey, particularly around telephone access and continuity of care.
This year, 89 per cent of patients said it was easy to get through to reception by phone, up five per cent from the previous survey.
Practice manager Janette Crosby said: "These results reflect the dedication, professionalism and compassion of our entire team, who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional care to every patient.
"While we are proud of this positive feedback, we remain committed to continuously improving our services by listening to our patients and using their experiences to shape the care we provide."
