"Police did not attend, but security were made aware."
The incident has renewed concerns about access to the site, which was the focus of a significant police operation earlier this summer.
Officers were called to Hambledon House in Waterloo Court on July 7 after members of the public reported suspicious activity at the property.
A subsequent search uncovered a large cannabis factory containing more than 1,800 plants spread throughout the empty office building.
At the time, Hampshire Police said officers remained at the property to carry out enquiries and ensure the building was secured and made safe.
The force warned that large-scale cannabis grows are often linked to organised crime and can pose significant fire risks due to dangerous electrical modifications made inside buildings.
It is understood the building remains vacant following the police investigation.
