The space has been created at Jack’s Place, a hospice for young adults with complex medical needs.

Claire Potterton, play and activities manager at Naomi and Jack’s, said: "It is truly wonderful to have a space that’s separate from the busy hub of Jack’s Place, where young adults who seek low stimulation can relax, socialise and enjoy time together.
"It’s also a space where they can do different activities depending on their interests and abilities but still be in each other’s company."
The room includes an interactive infinity mirror, a bubble wall, an aroma panel, a padded piano, a waterbed and a rocker chair.
A new track hoist has been fitted into the room, making it easy to move from a wheelchair to the waterbed or rocker chair.
Young adults have already begun using the space for a foot massage, games and relaxing sensory sessions.
The sensory room also includes a large screen and sofa for movies or video games, as well as a quieter area for crafts, activities and cooking.
Jack's place is part of Naomi and Jack’s, hospice for babies, children and young adults.
