AN inquest has opened into the sudden death of an Andover man in March.

Paul Kenneth Leney, 48, of Sidmouth Road, was found collapsed on the tarmac outside the hospice building in Andover by a member of staff on March 8.

Senior coroner Chris Wilkinson said: “Police and Ambulance were called and attended, but despite active treatment he was pronounced dead.”

A post-mortem was carried out by consultant pathologist Dr Adnan Al-Badri who reported the cause of death was unascertained.

Mr Wilkinson adjourned the hearing to August 4, 2027.
