A Tidworth driver who was banned from the road for six months after being caught uninsured in Andover.
The cases were among a number of matters heard at magistrates' courts involving defendants and offences connected to Andover.
Waisea Naituku, of Zouch Close, Tidworth, was sentenced at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on August 17 after driving a Jaguar on Andover Road, Andover, without third-party insurance on September 30, 2024.
Naituku was fined £660, banned from driving for six months and given six notional penalty points.
The court ordered £120 costs and a £264 surcharge, payable by September 14.
The case had previously been proved in Naituku’s absence through the Single Justice Procedure on October 13, 2025; magistrates refused a second application to adjourn, saying sufficient notice and opportunities had been given to make an exceptional-hardship application.
