The council said the work is part of a programme to improve Hampshire’s roads and infrastructure.
Details of the closure, diversion routes and updates are available via the One.Network website.
The council warned that bad weather or other unexpected problems could change the timetable at short notice.
A spokesperson for Hampshire County Council said: "While the schedule allows for potential delays, adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances may still lead to short-notice changes.
"We will make every effort to provide timely updates, although communicating these to the public at short notice can be challenging."
Warning signs will go up before work starts, and nearby residents and businesses will receive details of the scheme online.
Test Valley Borough Council and Andover Town Council have also been informed of the planned works.
