A funeral home in Andover welcomed families and care workers for a charity coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Dunning Funeral Services, based in Church Close, held the event on Friday, September 25, inviting members of the community to enjoy coffee and cake while raising money for the cancer charity.

Families and colleagues from Caremark Home Care attended the morning, helping to raise a total of £55.10.

Peter Powell, funeral service specialist at Dunning Funeral Services, said the team was pleased to support the fundraising effort and grateful to everyone who attended.

The event formed part of Macmillan's annual coffee morning campaign, which encourages people across the UK to come together over refreshments while raising money to help people living with cancer.

Dunning Funeral Services thanked all those who joined them on the day and contributed to the fundraising total.

Test Valley Councillor Iris Andersen, who attended the event, praised them for their support.
