A SEXUAL predator who abused two young girls has been locked up indefinitely.
Peter Edwards, convicted of nine offences against the pair, will serve at least seven years before his case is considered by the Parole Board.
At Southampton Crown Court, Judge Derwin Hope branded the 37-year-old as a danger to young girls.
“You remain in complete denial, don’t show any remorse or empathy towards them and you don’t consider you need any form of treatment to prevent this happening again,” he said.
Prosecutor Andy Houston outlined how Edwards repeatedly abused the girls.
Under the terms of a sexual offences prevention order, Edwards, of Statham Square, Andover, is banned from being alone with girls under 18 and cannot contact either of his victims.
Roderick Blain, defending, said no force was used to commit the offences and, when the girls resisted, he desisted from what he was doing.
