DOROTHY and Toto are following the Yellow Brick Road at the Theatre Royal Winchester until 3 January in the pantomime version of The Wizard of Oz.

A talented cast recreates the well-loved characters from Frank L Baum's original story for a show full of adventure and surprises.

They are joined on stage by a real dog and a child cast of dancers with young children playing Munchkins and winged monkeys.

The production brings together favourite panto traditions, audience participation and original songs with technical wizardry and magic effects.

Dorothy and Toto are on the hunt for The Wizard of Oz in the hope he can return them to Kansas.

Along the way they are joined by Scarecrow, Tinman and Cowardly Lion. Scarecrow is looking for a new brain, Tinman is in need of a heart while Cowardly Lion is desperate to find some courage.

With help from the Munchkins they set off for Oz meeting the green-faced Wicked Witch of the West and her army of flying monkeys along the way.
